A colourful pair of vintage opal doublet earrings adorned with four magnificent black opals weighing approx. 0.90 and 1.50ct (approx. 4.8ct total). 

Black Opals have a darker colouration to the regular variety with flashes of ethereal green, bright blue and fiery red burning within the stone, flowing as it moves like the Aurora Borealis. 

The stones are claw set in 9ct gold frames with slate backs and butterfly studs. They’re very eye catching and boast some truly spellbinding natural opals.
